From the beginning of the Spring Semester of 2017 onwards, I have working as an Interactive Media Assistant for the Office of the Vice President of Instruction (OVPI). Shortly after starting the job, I produced a wave of multimedia content that skyrocketed the levels of online engagement of the Office of Instruction as well as other official UGA offices like Study Abroad. My projects total up to around 25 thousand views, increasing their Vimeo views by 723%. These videos are embedded on official University of Georgia webpages, and also broadcast to all faculty and staff at UGA through a university-wide email newsletter. From videos, animations, and photography, to articles and newsletters, I am developing a variety of media that helps publicize the department; I’ve even had an animation of mine play on the Sanford Stadium Jumbotron! My position also allows me to hone my skills in web design as I publish all the content I create through their website platform as well as coded an entire website for their Annual Year in Review. Below are some of the highlights of my production.
Above is a feed of the Office of Instructions Vimeo page that my friend Christopher Carson and I have contributed to. I referred him for a Media position that opened up in our office during March 2017, and we have been collaborating on video and animation projects ever since! Ask me about any of these videos.
